Who we are

Masroofi (budget.hamzahtech.com) is a free budgeting service. Questions about your data: Mamoon@HamzahTech.com.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and (if you use Google sign-in) your profile photo. We never receive access to your Gmail, Google Drive, bank accounts or any other Google data.

What you enter: budgets, income, expenses, transfers, categories, accounts, bills and savings goals.

Security data: sign-in sessions with device type, browser and IP address, kept to protect your account.

What we do not do

No advertising, no advertising trackers and no selling or renting of your data. Financial pages load no third-party analytics.

Who can see your data

Personal budgets are visible only to you. Shared budgets are visible to the members you invite, with the role you give them (viewer, editor). Joining a shared budget never shares your personal budgets.

Administrators of the service see only aggregate counts (for example, number of users), not your amounts or transactions.

Where it is stored

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on a server operated for Masroofi, encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Keeping and deleting

We keep your data while your account exists. You can download all of it from Settings → Your data, and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account; deletion is permanent.

Entries you added to someone else’s shared budget remain in that budget without your name after you delete your account.

Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the date above.
